2013 Reunion Minutes
15th Medical Battalion Association
Old Sacramento, CA

CALL TO ORDER

The meeting was called to order at 0900 hours in the John Q ballroom of the Holiday Inn, in Old Sacramento, CA by President Art Jacobs, Mike Smith acting Sergeant-at Arms confirmed all members present were accounted for. Mike Smith then led the membership in the pledge of allegiance. There was a moment of silent prayer for departed members and for those in distress.

Valerie Huser Ladies Auxiliary Coordinator gave her report to membership and their activities.

PREVIOUS MINUTES

Secretary-Jim Calibro read the 2012 Minutes. A motion to accept the minutes, was made by Murray Gibbs and by Leo Williams. Motion passed.

OFFICER REPORTS

Secretary - No new business
Treasurer - Bob McKinley reported on the 15th Association finances. Tom Grove made a motion to accept the Treasurer's report as read, 2nd by Murray Gibbs. Motion carried.

COMMITTEE REPORTS

Reunion - Reunion Coordinator Jim Calibro reported that we had 34 members present at the general meeting and 78 members and guests attending the reunion.

Membership - Murray Gibbs reported that 18 new members were located within the last year and that membership now stands at 715.

Historian - John Crespi was absent due to family illness, no report.

Webmaster - Reported on the bi-monthly newsletter as well as his goals and objectives and posting confidential information on the Web site.

OLD BUSINESS

Open items - None.
Member Recognition & Announcements - Art Jacobs recognized Dave Huser Bob McKinley, Jim Calibro, and Murray Gibbs for different roles these individuals perform and their teamwork in the organization and structure of the 15th Med. Assoc.

Biloxi reunion 2008 - President Art Jacobs took up a collection for Randy Brewer who had out of pocket expenses for @ 2K.

NEW BUSINESS

The 2014 Reunion will be held in Orlando. Reunion Coordinator is Leo Williams.

The 2015 reunion will be held in Boise, ID. Reunion Coordinator is Mike Smith.

MOTIONS

Charter Members to become life members; Motion Died on the floor.
Application to become a 501(c)3. After a brief discussion the motion was carried.

Other; None.

New Constitution & By Laws; Presented by President Art Jacobs, Motion; Passed.

A motion was made to ban alcohol from the reunion, motion died on the floor.
